MY 25TH BIRTHDAY PROJECT: DAY TWO
THERE IS NO RIGHT TIME
This is a sentence I've become familiar with this past year. When it comes to decision-making whether it is major or minor, there is a strong feeling to wait for the right time.
I felt it most when I knew I had to quit my job two months before I took the leap. I quit last year in September. I knew it was time to leave, but I kept putting it off, "waiting for the right time". It wasn't until one Friday, after a meeting at the office that something snapped in me, and I thought "I have to do this now, I can't continue".
So I turned in my resignation letter on Monday, which turned out to be bad timing, and I ended up losing money for not doing it sooner. But, I was happy. I believe that you can't put a price on peace of mind so I was ready for anything.
Now, instead of "waiting for the right time", I "just do it". Lol, I try. It's a work in progress.
Let's check back next vear.
