MY 25TH BIRTHDAY PROJECT: DAY THREE

 

THE UNCERTAINTY

I experienced a period of uncertainty after I left my job. I guess Life decided to mess with me a little. It came with a variety of sensations: a sense of loss, feeling like I've fallen and can't get up, episodes of hot tears, anxiety, anger, and self-doubt. I had upended my career and didn't know what to do next. Amidst this, I still had to answer one unavoidable question, "Savings or Current?" Lol.

One thing was certain I knew what I didn't want to do, but what to do remained unknown. So, I dove into the world of remote jobs; I became a freelance writer on/off Upwork, and for some time, I had a remote job rating Facebook content, getting paid hourly.

That period opened my eyes to the vast opportunities in the remote/online workspace, and to new things I won't have ordinarily thought about. I'm grateful for that. Has the uncertainty passed? 80% +ve. So we moveee!
