MY 25TH BIRTHDAY PPROJECT: DAY ONE

 

THE BEGINNING

June 7th is a permanent mark on my calendar, my birthday. THE BIG TWENTY-FIVE (25)! Wow! How time flies. Since my 23rd birthday, this has become my ceremony, writing and posting on the days leading up to the day, the 7th, the perfect number. 

It is important to me that I be consistent, even though I'm not sure I want to write details of my past year. I do know I'm doing it for me, 20-30 years from now, I can look back and read through these early years of my life. I believe I'd like to write a memoir too. 

Also, if anyone is going to be reading this, they won't remember any of it. And I'm okay with it. It's a personal and beautiful gift to myself, and that's all that matters.

To anyone who will be reading, thank you for your time. I hope this act of mine inspires you to do something you're afraid of, whatever that may be. Cheers to a week-long celebration of life.
